The summer fete season kicked off in style with villagers young and old out in force for Kings Langley carnival on Saturday.
The annual event drew in the crowds who soaked up the party atmosphere.

Music from Kings Langley School pupils, traditional Punch and Judy shows and funfair rides were among the entertainment.

The event, organised by the Watford and Langleys Rotary Club, is always popular with residents and raises around £1,500 for local charities.
