The only language Chris of This Lifescandal speaks is music and he delivers well, loud and provocatively.

Next gig: Thursday, November 20 at The Dublin Castle, in Camden, London.

About the band: This unsigned talent is a regular at The Horn, in Watford, where he is known to experiment, test new songs and ad lib quite freely.

Band members: Chris Biggin, 25, from Hemel Hempstead, was a former Longdean School pupil and now is the band's producer. He sings the vocals, executes the instrumentation and engineers the whole sound together. He is currently being developed by EMI Music and is putting together a full band, which will include a drummer and a keyboard player. There is a rising storm of indistry interest around this band. Let's see where it carries him.

Influences: Bowie, Elbow, Ryan Adams, The Beatles, Manic Street Preachers and Hendrix, to name a few.

Catchline: "Did you get the message?"

Total plays: 18,829

Most popular song: The Great Bank Robbery.

Friends: 3,813

Pictures: A couple of sketches, photography of the band by Tim Hill and snaps of them rocking crowds at their gigs.
