Even the children will be getting a few laughs at the John Hegley Comedy gig, at The Court Theatre, in Tring, on Wednesday, September 24 at 4.30pm.
Get Stuffed Comedy, which brings top comic acts to the suburbs, has launched a funny poem competition where the winner will take to the stage to help warm up the audience.

The competition ending on Friday, September 19, open to youngsters in years one to nine at school, follows the success of last June's 'tell a joke' challenge.

Budding comedians should submit their favourite funny poem - either one they have written or someone has - to ben@get-stuffed.biz.

The best five will then be selected to be performed on stage before John Hegley's act and afterwards John will judge the competition and to give the small cash prize to the winner.

Along with the poem, ntrants must include their name, age, school, the author of the entry.

Tickets are available from the box office at Michael Edmunds on 01442 823130.
