Having recently celebrated its first anniversary, there seems to be no stopping the rapid expansion of the Berkhamsted Speaker's Club.
The organisation, which helps people become confident public speakers, has blossomed since being founded in July 2007, attracting thirty regular members to its fortnightly meetings.

erity, co-founder Khai Tyler said: "People gain a great deal of the life skills and personal development which will serve them well in both their professional and social lives.
"Good oratory is a vital skill in life which allows us to communicate and express ourselves. People come to us shy and timid but after a few weeks they are so confident that we cannot get them off the stage.'
Members participate in speaking contests which are marked by judges on their originality, time keeping and delivery, from those who may previously have been too shy, embarrassed or anxious to speak out at public gatherings.
However, the club is not sitting on its laurels and wants to expand its community work further afield from just its meetings.
Mrs Tyler explained: "We hope our service might appeal to small-medium sized businesses whose staff might benefit from the morale and confidence boosting work we carry out."
Like its members, the Speaker's Club is growing in confidence and likely to be celebrating its second anniversary in style next summer.
