To demonstrate where food comes from Ashridge Estate is holding a Plot to Plate day.

On Sunday, September 28 between 11am to 4pm the National Trust Estate will host a range of activities as part of a scheme to champion good local and sustainable food.

A market will be on as will a heaviest pumpkin competition.

Visitors will be able to take part in a fruity ramble to discover what food can be foraged free from nature and families will be able to plant their own trees.

Entry is free, with a small charge for certain activities. The ramble is set to start at 2.30pm.
