One estate agents is bucking the national trend.
While others are reining in to survive the credit crunch, Fine and Country has just moved into new offices in High Street, Berkhamsted.
Established in the town centre since 2004, the firm was previously based at other nearby premises.
Director Jan Foo said: "We have been looking for premises ever since we set Fine and Country up, but we were waiting for the right premises in the right location on the High Street."
The firm puts it success down to specialising in marketing only country homes and character properties and providing an individual service with a bespoke marketing plan for each property.
Staff held a celebration on Friday (September 12) to mark the opening of their new Grade II listed base.
